If you wanted to go from Tupelo to Huntsville, Natchez Trace to Cherokee, Al. and 72 straight to Huntsville seems like the way to go.

There’s no good way to go. Trace is slow because speed limit is 50 and they’ll burn your arse for speeding 5 mph over.
I go to Tremont and go north to Red bay and get on 24 to Decatur. It’s a 4 lane and goes middle of nowhere so you can haul arse most of the way and not get pulled over
