where are they sending them to? all those crawfish places in Texas are open? how's the supply in Nola?

Take 1/3 away on a normal year and prices still will be higher. Take 1/3 away on a year where we’re catching less than 10% of what we were catching last year at this time, and prices are going to be magnified even more.

Yeah my grandpa had a well at his ponds, he didn’t plant rice or at least didn’t harvest if he did. So just never understood the drought reasoning, wish he was still alive.

Crawfish died in the drought, before it was time to flood. People usually flood for crawfish in October- at least that was the practice back when we farmed crawfosh.

I honestly don't understand why it is so difficult, seemingly impossible, for so many people to understand this.
