Yes, cause these are the people who pay his salary!! We deserve to know what is going on, there is so much concern about the DC's and he acts like he does not know the problem exists. We deserve better, and I have lost a lot of respect for Miles during this last month.

I agree. The 90,000 plus fans that fill the stadium every weekend, and the others that listen to his radio show, buy LSU gear, and support witht their money other at least be told that "he is looking, or he isn't looking" I think it's only fair to be honest with your fan base that 100% supports your lifestyle. There would be no 3 million plus salary a year w/o us.

Absolutely NOT if, in HIS OPINION, divulging such information would negatively impact LSU, it's family or program.

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO shite!

You choose to be a fan, you can choose not to be.

It's his duty and obligation to, however that doesn't mean that he will.

He's shown himself to be quite obstinate and hardheaded when it comes to communication, dealing with the media, and talking straight to the fanbase. So I wouldn't expect anything from him, I have very low expectations for Miles.

people, especially wegotigress, he is probably dealing with coaches that are employed (ie under contract) with someone else...whether it be nfl, of college. chill out

however, if he hires chavis, and still waits to announce...then i believe he is letting his present coaches down easily. if you were one of those assistants, you would appreciate that.

Only if he has any sense. He doesn't need to name specific people if there are specific people to name. He can, though, say "Yes, I am looking to fill some key coaching positions with new blood and will have something to announce by _____ (fill in the date)". Or, "No, I'm really not making more than adjustments with the present coaching staff, period." This could even be done by a paper press release if he doesn't actually want to talk to reporters or answer questions.

Les SHOULD say something, at least let the fans know he hears them. I'd settle for a statement from the admin saying that Les is aware of the concern and is taking steps to correct the defensive problems but won't likely have anything to say to the fans until after the chicken-samich bowl. Verge, how about getting word to Les?

So what if there were no LSU fans? There would be no Alleva, no Les, no LSU football.

+ 2 with a huge amen. THe rant has become silly on this topic and I really wonder if people complain in other facets of their life so much.

If the fan base ran the program we would be lucky to win a game with their ever changing and dramatic mood swings.

No he shouldn't. How can he communicate with the fan base without going public with everything before it's necessary. He also shouldn't annouce the game plan for the Peach Bowl to the fan base; unless all the GT coaches and players promise to cover their ears.
Be patient. The water will boil, quit string at the pot.

Do you realize the more he says the more it can hurt him? Seriously, his job is to win football games. Do you honestly beleive most of the shite a coach says to the public anyway? They say what you want to hear so its not like their words are gold anyway.
