The same things everyone does when there is a potential freeze.

At bare minimum, have maintenance confirm that exposed pipes are properly insulated/wrapped.

Make sure heating systems are functioning properly.

This isn’t the first time Louisiana has had cold weather.

Last time snow stuck to the ground was in 2008.

We’ve had 2 snow events in the last 9 least in south central LA. Both had accumulation and both were an absolute disaster for travel on any interstates. (In the immediate aftermath)

2017. I was throwing snowballs and running in the snow with my dog, I have a video of a decent amount of snow on the ground

What’s crazy is LSU didn’t cancel school that day despite snow on the ground. I had a final exam that morning after waking up early to see the snow
