You may be right about initially ....but mean tweets certainly beats illiterate socialism any time of the week hands down. I'm a Vivek fan ....but right now, more of a Trump fan because I understand what he's trying to accomplish......Vivek is far more right of center than Trump. The competition far more destructive of the country and Constitution. Vivek understands defeating competitors. Trump developed under his own banner ....Trump doesn't have the killer instinct that Vivek has .....Desantis ....not in the ball park ...Hailey? Left of the center in the pairing ....Establishment minded ....We want Mitch McConnell gone and Mittens forgotten ...

Vivek hasn't endured any substantive test. Whereas DeSantis has fought the battles substantively and won while not being able to execute the showmanship part, Vivek is the opposite. He's smooth and fast on his feet in rhetoric and hasn't ever accomplished a single thing for the ideology he claims.

I'll be really interesting to see what Vivek does for the next four years if he's not part of Trumpworld. Scoring some tangible wins would seemingly quiet doubters ahead of another run. But I think some, myself included, will always be a little uneasy about a guy who hasn't really run anything of use to the right and only wants to compete for the top prize.

He may not be interested, but it seems he could easily become the governor of Ohio in 2026 and work the 2028 route of quick accomplishments during his time as governor.

The 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the governor of Ohio. Incumbent Republican Governor Mike DeWine is term-limited and ineligible to seek a third consecutive term.

But, he just may also milk his brand/following and become some type of political influencer on a major network like Tucker.

Vivek will be less impactful on the Republican Party in the long-term than Steve Forbes.
