But I’d it normal for a team to blow so many leads? Does the average NBA game have huge swings to where 15+ lead in the fourth is basically the same as being up by a field goal in football? I only really follow the pelicans and it seems to happen a lot. Not sure if they are ever on the good side of the comeback but they certainly seem to blow a bunch of leads.

It’s not normal for a team of the pelicans caliber to blow leads like this as often as they do.
But, yes, teams do blow leads. 10 points is really on 3 shots now with the 3-point line. Doesn’t take a lot to cut it very quickly.

In general, a double digit NBA lead is blown a shite ton.
But the Pels do blow the most or darn close to the most big leads in the NBA.
So the technical answer to your question is NO
