A lot of people had a hand in this loss. Everyone's talking about BI and Naji, but:
- Trey with missing two straight FTs late in the game
- Jonas with allowing Lively to dominate him on the glass
- Zion with shooting 6-11 from the FT line, which is why Dallas intentionally fouled him.

The emotional swings of this board back and forth from game to game never cease to amaze me .
This is a good team with good players . Not 1 great player which is what’s prevented the next step.
A good team with “closers” that are extremely flawed which is why we repeatedly struggle down the stretch .
Ingram had rough go of it today . Zion scored but had 6 less rebounds than the smallest guy on the court and didn’t make FTs when it mattered . Naji was bad . Jonas looked like was running on fumes .
Willie had one of those games that makes you wonder .
Game was decided by the best player on the court understanding he had to win. And he did.

Have to get a 3, no Hawkins on the court, and Trey just sits in the corner without moving.
Maybe if both of those guys are running around trying to get free, then BI gets a wide open set shot for 3 instead of an off balance pull up 3, assuming neither Hawkins or Trey were open.
BI played bad today. Zion played great, but Zion missed 2 of 3 free throws in the last minute and a half of a 2 point game, and Kidd basically punked him putting him on the line down 2 on purpose.

I mean some games are like this. You expect Kyrie and Luka to drop 40 on you but Hardaway Jr.? When he was splashing contested 30 footers you knew it wasn’t gonna be a good day.

This team makes me so fricking angry sometimes.
Losing is fine… but losing in gobsmackingly dumb fashion… REPEATIDLY is fricking infuriating.

Zion scored and had exciting moments .
He wasn’t great .
11 for the mavs was great . There’s a difference

0-7 (!!!) in games decided by 3 or less

That would surely make me give up on the NBA forever. Would allow me to spend more quality family time.

Kyrie and Hardway played 40 plus.
CJ and Zion rested last game and played 29 and 32.
Again is it more important for guys like Naji to get minutes or to play our stars whatever minutes needed to win a game? This game was close throughout- no need to get everyone like Naji minutes.

All Trey wants to do is stand in the corner and take 50-foot shots like he's Steph Curry, Reggie Miller, or Ray Allen. When he makes the shot, he just stands there and does the pose. He needs to tighten up.

It’s really bad .
There’s no clean hands.
Willie has to be better .
That doesn’t happen to Stars/Great players .

Players need to have a better understanding of their roles. Its becoming a problem. I’ll ask you guys who’s the best player on this team and do we constantly play through that guy and ride him in games?

I'd rather have Liddell than Naji. Naji's a player who doesn't know what he's supposed to do and does things he shouldn't. He's a bit of a selfish player. Just look at me, a type of player.

Hes even admitted hes just trying to play for a big contract. Lot of players do but he will always look for his first and his basketball IQ is just low.

He also ran the offense flawlessly. 95% of the possessions ran through him ended with excellent shots.
2/3 of the possessions that he didn't touch the ball ended in extremely difficult shots.

Brandon pushes Grant off the three-point line and allows him to make layups when the scouting report says Grant doesn't shoot well from the three-point line. Low IQ basketball.
