Thought it was unexpectedly good until mid-season or so, when they probably should've switched the name of the show from "Ted" to "Blaire."
Didn't really care for her character dominating so much of the storyline.
On a side note, I kept wondering why Susan (the mom) looked so familiar. I think I actually remember her from Beakman's World in the early 90s.

Watching the first episode right now. The dinner table race conversation is tired and unfunny.

Why you coming at me like that? No reason to be an a-hole.

4 episodes in and I am enjoying it. It is an interesting amalgam of old family sitcoms from All in the Family to Married With Children with the addition of a talking teddy.
So it's an Alf reboot?

Kinda, if Alf smoked weed and the show leaned TV-14 in general. As I said the show takes bits from many, particularly dysfunctional, family sit-coms from years past. As I think it was the OP who mentioned the show plucked the strings of nostalgia for a wide gamut of Gen Xers. I wouldn't call it must-see TV just like the movies aren't required viewing I am enjoying it.

I started watching it this week out of boredom and thought it was hilarious. Hopefully there’s a season 2.
