The fact with cutting Naji out still remains - you’re losing that versatile depth that can give tough minutes vs stronger wings.
You already have 2 guys in the rotation like this who defend better than Naji (Herb and Dyson). Having 3 in the rotation is kind of overkill. If those 2 get in foul trouble then bring in Naji, otherwise no reason to have Naji in rotation as well.

Herb can definitely guard up and down any position, minus really big centers, so he is definitely the guy. And Dyson can guard up to the 3, so Naji is really just depth for foul trouble/giving guys rest, and it doesn't need to be every game or big minutes when he does.
You can give Naji 8 minutes a game and EASILY replace what he gives you with some minor tweaks.
And I don't hate Naji. He has his role. Same as Jose. But both are heading for a reduction, not one or the other. They'll become more matchup dependent rather than primary reserves.

If we are talking regular season though, my preference would be taking a few minutes from the starters and using our deep bench to our advantage, and then tighten up to a 9 man rotation come the playoffs.
