Since it looks like we are sticking with 4 RBs next season & adding this guy hopefully that means Sloan/Hankton want a gunslinging offense. This guy had a great game vs Oregon.

I’m all in favor of giving Nuss all the weapons. Lacy, Daniels, Hilton, Zavion, Anderson, Sampson fixing to eat. Along with the stacked TE room which includes Taylor, Markway, Pimpton & Green.

Fireworks on offense incoming for ‘24??

Kid is a good player. I’ve gotten to see him play in person

Hopeful that he has success with us

5 wide set: Kyren Lacey, Zavion Thomas, CJ Daniels, Chris Hilton, Shelton Sampson.

No secondary is stopping that.

Liberty played the worst competition last year. I don’t think this is a great get

Yeah I’m sure your couch potato arse is definitely qualified to recognize WR talent over Hankton and the offensive staff.

Why wouldn’t this guy enter the draft? Wasn’t he a fourth year junior last year?

Because he more than likely wants to put film of him against top competition for nfl scouts.

It’s not hard to figure this out

Hopefully he isn’t the second coming of the highly heralded Jonathan Giles. Giles' stats at Texas Tech before he transferred to LSU are similar to Daniel's stats at Liberty:

Daniels:
55 receptions
1,067 yards
10 touchdowns

Giles:
69 receptions
1,158 yards
13 touchdowns

Five 100+ yard games
Eight games with a reception of 30+

Seems a big play kind of guy.
Liberty stats are really hard to read. They play absolutely no one. No money games against P5 opponents. They did not play P5 until the bowl game, where they were trounced. Daniels still managed 80 yards in that bowl game.

Now compare the offenses Giles & Daniels entered.

Better LSU than Auburn or Oregon.

How many of our current scholarship players are going to get “processed”?

^Taking up another scholarship when we will already be over the limit in the fall & have bigger needs for other positions
