I really like Tech.. I almost went to school there

I've got a lot of friends who go to school there

I love the UGA/GT tradition.. U(sic)GA is the funniest slam against a school I've ever heard.

I root for Georgia Tech just about every time I watch them.. Yes, even over UGA despite me usually rooting for SEC first

That said..

Best thing I can say about them...

They were the opponent when LSU's football program turned the corner.

One of my first college football games was Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech. I hadn't yet started school but remember the GT students running the Notre Dame team off the sidelines by throwing fish at them. The student section, in those days, was directly behind the opposing team. I thought that was cool as heck and disappointed to learn all football games didn't include a fish toss moment.

I went to the board and went to post but i couldn't think of anything to say and just froze for minute thinking of something good to say about our Tigers..

Then I've thought of something decent to say but when I went to post it I had to apply for access.

They're a season away from discovering the forward pass.

-Georgia Tech is at the top of my list when considering adding or changing teams in the SEC.

-Georgia Tech is, by far, the best team that used to be in the SEC, but isn't anymore.

-Georgia Tech is currently very well coached.

-Georgia Tech beat UGA this year, and we barely stayed on the field with UGA.

say something nice about G.T.......

When the Russians invaded Georgia, the students of G.T. did not grab their weapons to defend themselves.

The point of this thread is to say something "nice" about Tech ... for example:

Tech fans wrap the finest white tape available around the bridge of their glasses.

You sometimes have to hit a yellow jacket twice with a fly swatter to kill it.

Guess what's the most popular hangout at GT on a weeknight? The Library.

*And no, I'm not talking about a bar called The Library. I'm talking about an actual library. You know the one with books.
