I think saying you feel safe in New Orleans just makes someone sound stupid.

Have you been to New Orleans? Do you think there is crime around every corner at every time of the day? There are unsafe situations that you can put yourself in, but when we go now we typically stay Uptown and there's no reason not to feel safe walking around Uptown during daylight hours.

I was there this past year for the first time in awhile. We did this and felt fine walked on canal as well several times and hit up some places.

However it was disgusting and smelt like shite/piss everywhere you walked. Unless I absolutely have to go there, you won’t find me in NOLA anytime soon.

Also I was at mandinas not long before that place got shot up. So saying you don’t feel safe in NOLA is a legitimate statement.

Yes, I went down for a job interview. I declined a second interview because I said there was no way I was going to move there. Not only did I feel unsafe, but it was also depressing to see what it has become.

I think you just proved my point.
