re: Is anyone here adopted?

Have twins that were natural and 7yrs later we decided to adopt. I really hope my daughter never has the desire to meet her birth mom. She’s been basically been a baby factory before and after ours was born. We tried helping her out some after our baby was born, then she ghosted us. 2 years later we receive a call from our adoption attorney asking if we want another bc the mother is pregnant (come to find out she had another in the interim with the same guy (our baby was from a different person). We decided that another would be too difficult, so another adoptive family was found. Fast forward to the birth, the father steps in and wanted custody of both children..new adoptive family is absolutely devastated and the crazy father won custody of both kids.

My wife and I were so grateful we didn’t have to deal with any of that. I can’t even begin to imagine what the other family went through.
