For us oldheads who were around back then and had season passes (you had to get them at Maison Blanche)- there was no better time to be had as a kid than going to that Fair every weekend .. to this day,, it always kinda blows my mind when it’s talked about as a colossal failure, since i have nothing but great memories.. then again, i wasnt a financier with skin in the game, i was just a kid .

I agree, I was 11 when the fair came and it was great.

Was just thinking didn’t ponchatrain beach close down pretty close to that time?

Another great place for a kid sigh…
