I took Pitts as my first TE in my fantasy draft this year confident that Ridder would use him multiple times a game as a checkdown/safety net. Boy, was I wrong. He got me some points toward the end of the year, but Jonnu stole a whole lotta points from me this year.

Should be an immediate fireable offense.

The single most overrated player in the league by a wide margin. People who still think he's some world beater being held down by a bad scheme haven't watched games. He can't get open to save his life, he's an awful blocker, and by comparison, Albert Haynesworth went 110% on every snap. I really don't think better QB play will help Pitts much. He is a guy who was just better and more athletic than everyone else in college but never had any refined technique/route running to go with it. You don't just out-athlete guys in the NFL without sharp route running ability.

No gamebreaking ability whatsoever. He's an underneath possession receiver who it feels like a miracle when he makes a play longer than 15 yards.

Smith's offensive scheme was really hampered by piss poor drafting, which he probably had a lot of input with.
