I think people are being petty
Sure Saban has his flaws but you don't sustain and win at the level he has consistently purely from just 'recruiting'. Seen plenty of examples of programs who recruit at a high level but underachieve every year. There has to be a sense of structure, competence and good program management to have done what he has done.
Honestly I'm impressed he got this Alabama team to the playoffs this year with Milroe at QB.
