It’s not a desperation move, it’s a correct charge. First degree rape is a stretch. This is what he actually did and proved it for them.

Carver isn’t the rapist. He might be an accessory to rape, if that’s a thing. He is an admitted and proven video voyeur. I also think he is partially responsible for her death. But he did not physically rape her. That I agree with.

I read in a news article that there is video of one of the guys on top of her, her legs in the air, stripped. The article said there is video of him saying “They finna rape her.” before and of him saying “They just flipped this bitch.” Meaning flipped her over to expose her anus.
This is who these guys are knighting for.

According to the news article i linked above, it was shown in court. Some snippets:
"During the 20 minutes the car was parked in the parking lot, prosecutors played video snippets. One of Kaivon (Washington) shoving Maddie down in the backseat, physically shoving her pushing her hard."
But you still hear Maddie scream, ‘Get off,’ so that's captured on video," Miller said.”
This is from a Fox News article. So it’s as reliable as any.

Also, to the guy stating that the guys aren’t responsible for her death if significant time passed between them letting her out and her getting hit, according to another Fox article that gives the timeline, exactly 56 minutes passed between the video of her entering their car at Reggies and the cops receiving the call about her being hit by the car. During that time, they drove to the park, she had “sex” with two men, they drove around looking for her address, eventually got tired of driving, had an argument, and let her out. The cops received the call 56 minutes after she got into that car.
