It's a mix for me. For some reason I always write my f, o and e in cursive.

Cursive is much faster. If you write in cursive you may want to try the "Sharpie S gel" pen. It is more pleasant than a ball point and comes in several widths.

I still use my Grandfather's real ivory handled letter opener, so (short of writing with real ink) the Sharpie product has the look to match the letter opener.

I write in cursive,takes me too long to print something.I have gotten a lot of compliments over the years about how nice my handwriting is.
I have arthritis in my thumb now so my writing is not as good but it’s still legible.
My two sisters have very nice handwriting.
We were products of Catholic schools,the nuns were big on penmanship.
