Vanilla Gift Card (Visa)

Received a Vanilla Gift Card in the mail. Card has imprinted "gift for you" for $100. Obviously, it's a scam. Has anyone received this card and does anyone know how this scam works?

You can use it to buy an Amazon E-gift card then buy anything you want from Amazon.
If it is a scam, and it is probably not, it won’t go through to Amazon.

Check the balance- if it’s active, spend it. You sure it’s not from a relative or friend?

Take pictures of the front and back, be sure to include the numbers and remove any stickers to show the codes.

As mentioned, check the balance. Don’t send anyone money who claims to have sent it to you by mistake. What else do you want to know.

You need to call the number and check the balance. Make sure you don’t log on online to check the balance though.

It’s just a prepaid Visa gift card. You can check the balance without giving personal info
