If I had $1.18 to blow on a house, I’d look to Boca Raton/Miami. Plenty of suburbs in the Miami area have 2,500 sq ft houses for that price.

In Miami, you would get a Condo, with 1k/month maintenance and 8k a year property tax?
Even if purchased for 750k or so, maintenance and property tax doesn’t go away.

Sure if you like being so close to your neighbor you can hear them fart from inside your homes.
Oh but you’re near a nice beach. Ok then you go and it’s so packed you can’t even walk or get a spot. Sounds like a great lifestyle.
