Apparently a lot of folks that make 100k in a cubicle would accept a 15k annual pay cut that comes with more work and an office with a door. Seems strange to me. Actually faced with this choice in the real world, I doubt they would be so quick to make that choice. Hypothetically, it’s much easier to pretend they are so willing to sacrifice 15% of their pay for more work and little more privacy.

You understand how shitty it is to work a useless job where you spend the vast majority of your day clock watching and trying to look busy while not doing anything?

After a week you’re bored out of your mind and miserable.

Oh and you have to actually try to look busy because you’re in a fricking cube.
