I agree, both can be true. Kelly, Johnson, & Mulkey are great hires, just wish he would’ve went the Kansas route with Wade. After last season and the upcoming sec schedule, my son doesn’t even bother to watch the games or even talk Tiger hoops. The program just feels dead, should’ve extended Wade as Kansas did with Self and ridden it out.

I feel like we could've done that but we had the football investigation going on at the time. They knew if they rode it out, more snooping would've happened and they didn't want that. They sacrificed basketball to save their cash cow.

Stop comparing Self to Wade. They didn’t have self on a wiretap talking about a big azz offer. Self didn’t use any personal accounts to pay the girlfriend. If you think lsu would have gotten a slap on the wrist if they would’ve retained Wade, then you are sadly mistaken. I’m more than sure lsu would have gotten post season bans and scholarship reductions.
