Well, I'm not a libertarian, so this is nonsense and ignores the reality of U.S. law as libertarians constantly do when it offends their lefty friends.

Most laws exist because the crime harms an unwilling party.
If the act is not seen as harmful, and they are willing, there is no victim. There are obvious exceptions of course.
Other than us thinking “well that’s just not right.” That’s our morality we’re attempting to impose on them.
This is exactly how progressives operate. They want you to adopt their moral code - which happens to be very low.
Maybe there is such as thing as progressive conservatives. Conservatives who wish to have everyone adopt their moral code.

This ban on transgender care would be one.
Did you know that almost every male who is put on puberty blockers before reaching adolescence will never have an orgasm? Is a pre-adolescent child able to consent? Is destroying a child’s sex life before they reach their teen years harmful?
Keep sticking your head in the sand and pretending you’re being principled. You’re not. You’re a scared pussy.

Should we legislate morality? I say probably not. It’s a slippery slope. Let idiots be idiots (within reason) as long as it doesn’t impact others.
I guess all suicide laws should be scratched.

Statutory rape is a huge example, because a child is not seen as able to make good decisions in that area. They do not understand the long term issues nor can they control their hormones, nor do they have the ability to stop the adult from preying on them.
This sits right next to adults playing God with a child's gender and such. For all the same reasons the child cannot make a good choice nor can they stop the adult from doing something.
Sick fricks.

How about a ban on transgenders

What a fricking spineless shitheel.

Family agrees. Medical profession agrees. Let it happen. They have to live with the consequences. That’s life. FAFO.
Once the lawsuits start coming in the pendulum will swing. Doctors will abandon them. It will self correct. Always does.
That needs to happen to put an end to it permanently. Otherwise the left will fight for it and we’re phobic.

We’ll that’s like….. your opinion, man.
I happen to think government shouldn’t legislate morality and interfere in family business. You think there are victims that need government protection. The family and doctor disagree.
Following that logic - we need government protection from fake news so we aren’t victims of it.
Legislating morality is dangerous - it’s different to everyone - and should be avoided except in extreme circumstances.

No need to get personal. We can disagree.

That’s a bit different IMO. I don’t know of many situations where an entire family supports statutory rape and a doctor agrees it’s ok.

All laws are legislating morality. This is a meaningless talking point.
You don’t agree that children should be protected from predatory doctors and either misled or predatory parents. I agree. You don’t have any special force behind your argument.

“Boys becoming pregnant” has nothing to do with gender dysphoria
Or transgender, for that matter.
The state should stay the frick out of
a family’s medical consultations with their doctor. How much power do you want to give a state?

The difference is if there’s a victim. Legislating morality without a clear victim is a problem.
That’s not just a talking point. It’s potentially a legit over reach of government.

So if a doctor and some moon bat parents in Ohio decide to affirm a little girls’ body dysmorphia and give her lap band surgery and radical plastic surgery, that’s OK with you too?
Because the only difference is leftist politicians choosing one dysmorphic disorder as a wedge.
