Yes but what the carnivore diet does well is regulate your appetite so that you can drop the extra lbs without being hungry. Its actually difficult to consume too many calories on carnivore.

When I started, I also implemented a fast from 12-12. After the first week (when my body shock wore off), I ended up stretching that fast from 7pm-12pm. Truth is, I could probably go more except if I eat lunch when I feel like eating, then it will ruin my dinner time or make it so I won't even eat it. I try to eat dinner with the family especially now that the wife is also on it but without the fasting.
It also converts your mind from thinking of food as a reward system into just eating to sustain life.

Are things like alliums allowed on it?
For instance if I wanted some onions with some ground beef would that be no longer carnivore?
