The sets were no different the game he coached. The idea that some folks think we learned an entire new offense, ran it 1 game, then never ran it again is silly. We ran the same offense.

Also, Hawkins played a ton of minutes with WIllie coaching as well.


Again, we don't know what Willie has or hasn't taken from Borrego.

Sure we didnt run a completely new offense, but this looks like an entirely different team with the sets called in particular situations.

THATS the difference.

The fact that the offense looks no different in the games Willie has been a head coach this year than last 2 years should be enough proof that there is no Borrego offensive influence on this team. Whether thats Willie, Borrego or player’s’ fault- who knows.

I think the plays are there to be run but hard to run those plays when you have guys like Herb and Dyson in the lineup playing major minutes. Hence the players- specifically BI go back to iso ball.
