How are we so sure changes are even going to be made?

We're all going nuts over potential d coordinator candidates and we don't even have an opening.

I would be SHOCKED if we didn't have a new DC for next season...

I would too, Chicken; however, the fact is that nothing official has been announced about searching for a new DC. In fact, there hasn't even been anything remotely close to an official statement.

All LM has stated about the defense is that he "expects the problems to be fixed...before the bowl game."

Everything else is guess work.

As would I, but the fact is we still have co-defensive coordinators as of right now. The only thing Miles said following the Arkansas game was basically the same thing he said after every loss.

Miles is arrogant, but I do not think totally stupid.

If he does not get a DC and LSU does not CONSIDERABLY improve, HE is gone.

That's assuming that he has a choice to not hire one.

Well, Miles is just going about this in his own special way, but expect changes to happen.

If that was in reference to a coaching change don't you think a firing would at least be made by now? Do you really expect us to let these guys go, immediately announce a hiring, and have time to implement anything before the bowl game?

Edited to add: The bowl game is 3 weeks from tomorrow.

already confirmed that we contacted Greg Robinson; that's a pretty good sign considering you're not going to get squat out of miles until the guy is hired. and even then you'll have to wait a week.

"Fixed" (hired) does not equal "announced"

seriously, this impatience amongst everyone is embarassing. I was listening to Rivals Radio this morning (national broadcast) and you have LSU fans crying and so worried that they wasn't going to be change. A guy called in comlaining nothing has been done and was claiming the world's end because Les Miles' was dragging behind everyone else in the country.

Whenever there's a player in trouble, whenever there's a player transferring and there's so much information out there about them, the universal statement behind it is "where there's smoke, there's fire."

There has been so much information out now and there have been articles written, insiders comments everywhere, people refuse to believe anything about what's going on with the situation.

All this whining, this crying, bickering, and demands should be embarrassing to you guys as a fans base. As "loyal" as you are to LSU, you should all be. 90% of you are crying like little girls because you don't know what's going on after it's been all but confirmed that the wheels are moving in the direction of a change.

From today's advocate . . . granted they could be wrong and the whole thing could be one big conspiracy but there's a LOT more evidence pointing toward a new DC and little if any to the contrary.

I guess so. I've seen nothing official from anybody. The same people who are saying changes will be made are some of the same people who this time last year were saying Miles was going to Michigan.

does it have to be one person?

Sports2. Chicken. Sonny Shipp. Mike Scarborough.

Does Les Miles have to come out and say it? Would that please you? Well, you know what? He doesn't have to tell you a fricking thing.

but that isn't official. Stewart wasn't in Les Miles office when he was interviewed.
