What pins give you trouble on a bolt action rifle stock? What’s not free is when someone does something to the metal parts of your rifle. Best to keep that in your care, not UPS’s.

I haven’t had any trouble with pins on bolt action rifles. But I have had issues with pins on ARs. My point was I just didn’t want to F**k with and I’m not concerned about a factory gunsmith messing something up.
