I don’t have a problem sending back the entire rifle. I’m an amateur gunsmith, and I’ve disassembled several firearms. I’ve had too many screw holes or pins not line up perfectly. I would rather have a factory gunsmith handle it, especially if it’s free. I’ll slap my scope back on, sight it in, and I’ll be ready to go.

What pins give you trouble on a bolt action rifle stock? What’s not free is when someone does something to the metal parts of your rifle. Best to keep that in your care, not UPS’s.
