First time using this. Took a bit of getting used to, but once you get going, this little sucker is awesome. Highly recommend if you clean shrimp often.

You just remove the head, insert this under the shell, and follow down the line of the back vein. It deveins, peels, and butterflies all in one pass.

They were on sale a lot over the holiday for around $18. I'm sure they do sales often.

It’s possible I just suck at using mine, but I still feel I can peel and butterfly faster manually.

The ones I had today were nice and big with thick shells, so peeling wouldn't have been too bad. But man, when they are soft, I am miserably slow

I love mine. The first time I used it the little blade part bit me.

I use the red plastic one without the little blade and it does just fine. Love it.

I have the red plastic one as well, but I think one of these would be an upgrade

I love mine and like all things, there is a learning curve but after that this little unit kicks arse.

Their spatula is really useful. I thought a $28 spatula was nuts but I use it every day.
