how do I play/store/burn to CD a FLAC file?

yes I’m behind the times…
there’s some soundboards I want to download and burn to CD so I can play on my stereo and/or store and play on a Bluetooth speaker
can someone walk me through what I need? I’ll have to download to my windows PC at work

Does it have to be a CD? And is FLAC the only format you can get the file? Some CD players cannot play FLAC, some can. Do you have something that can play from a usb stick?

You can download FLAC and play it in Windows Media Player. If you want to take those files and have them play from a CD on the old stereo you’ll have to convert the files. You have to make a CDA (audio) disk, not a data disk. You can use a program like THIS to convert the FLAC and burn to CD. Also, keep in mind that FLAC files can be downloaded at high bitrates and CDs can only play 16bit/44.1kHz.

I’ll give it a go next week in the office
there is a USB port on my portable speaker
in case anyone is interested, there’s two Dylan 76 soundboards just rediscovered, these shows did not circulate at all. There’s also tape of willie opening for the show in Austin

Import FLAC into itunes.
Convert FLAC file to mp3
Put mp3 into playlist
Burn playlist to disc
Convert FLAC file to mp3
Put mp3 into playlist
