This discussion involves TV markets vs brands and if SEC TV viewership proves anything,brands are just as important if not more so.

Combined bigger markets than Birmingham,Knoxville,Baton Rouge,New Orleans, Greenville,Lexington/Louisville and Nashville and keep in mind the only SEC and P5 team in the state barely moved the needle for CFB viewership.
