He’s right. If all you want is a salary, go on punching the clock at 40. If you want to get well ahead get to work, snowflake. Presumably he didn’t become CEO by working 40s, so he’s not asking anything that he wasn’t willing to give.

Imagine thinking these companies are going to actually appropriately compensate employees who “give more”.
