Which teams are in the playoff just about every year? And what do their star rankings look like?
TM and Jefferson’s are outliers, not exceptions that disprove the rule. You need big talent to beat the best teams consistently.

Of course every 3 star won't be like those guys. What they can be is players who help us win games. I've watched film on every player we get, and some of these 3 star players will be very good. And look at all the 5 star players that have been a total bust. All I'm saying is this shite isn't an exact science. Louisiana will be a lot deeper over the next couple years, and as long as we're consistently in the top 10 we'll be competing for a playoff spot. I don't think we will finish number 12 every year.

Washington and Michigan haven’t had top classes. LSU having the 12 class is an outlier too. It’s ok to have a solid class to fill needs sandwich in between top 10 classes.

Look at the offer list. AL, GA, Ohio State, MI, Oregon or ULL, TU, Ms St, AZ, Kentucky

Michigan is ending up in the playoffs the last 2 years and look at their team recruiting ranking the last few years. Let me guess...another exception? Why has Ohio State only won 1 NC the last 20 years when they are always up there? How did Clemson win their NCs when their recruiting was lucky to squeeze into the top 10. Look it up...I just did! Half the time their classes back then was in the teens.
