Are you familiar with the Cajun Power product line? They offer most every classic Cajun & Creole dish in jarred "starter" kits including C&S gumbo.

I don't live in LA so I'm not sure if it is sold in stores. I order it online from their website.

That's a good suggestion for the OP. I see those products in many supermarkets. I would expect they can be found in Baton Rouge. The website doesn't provide locations where it's sold,though.

I live in central MS and noticed on Friday that my local Kroger has started carrying a few Cajun Power products. Picked up a bottle of the garlic sauce that you guys talk about here. Looking forward to putting it on some grilled chicken or something
