YouTube search Tiffany A. Henyard. I don't think I've seen a more blatantly corrupt politician in recent memory. Every week is something new. It's like watching a bad reality show and expecting the feds to swoop in any minute.
I especially liked when she locked out the town trustees and forced them to hold meetings in lawn chairs outside. She also sent tens of thousands of tax payer money to her own charity.
Tax payer funded billboards
Shut down a competing event
Hired a violent sex offender
Bills are going unpaid
It gets much worse. There are gang associates threatening trustees, drive by shootings, police corruption. This town of only 20k is now 7 million in the hole and its only her 2nd year in office. She locked everyone out of the financial management software so they can't see how she is spending all the money. This B dressed up like Wesley snipes in New Jack City for a township meeting lol.

That's a fairly well known story. FBI are "witch hunting" her now. She will get locked up soon enough.

So the town voted to recall her but a judge overturned it? What was the official reason? Anyone know?

She’s really no different than those types in other larger cities. She’s just more overt about her theft. At least the Trustees were taking a stand. Most of the time they are complicit

She's the same as most politicians. It's just there're a lot less moving pieces in a 20k pop town, and the corruption is easier to spot. Opposed to a huge city where there are many pieces moving at the same time, and everyone has become accustomed to scratching each other's backs.

It was something about they held two votes combined in one election and they needed to be separate so it wasnoverturned.
