You’re telling me if Trump walked into my store and I gave him some free stuff because I like him and what not … that that’s a crime?

I may be naive I just dont see how you separate political and private transactions. Hey I like you here’s some cheaper rent.

I mean unless you have a phone transcript of like “I’ll rent it to you at this price if you do X for me” … “ok deal” type of transaction then I don’t think this is anything of substance.

Now do I think she’s a corrupt piece of shite and deserves to be in jail. Yes. But that’s my hunch.

This story certainly doesn’t seem substantial to justify my feelings of that however.

Even the president has restrictions on what can be accepted and what the value is. A local politician like the Mayor certainly has to follow ethical guidelines and reporting for something like that. As far as being a crime, I don't know. But certainly unethical. If Fun Bunch is right then they may have her on some other stuff that got uncovered during the investigation of something else. Feds don't play.
