I always felt bad for people born around Christmas. One friend was born on Dec. 23rd, and another, on Jan. 1st. They both got cake & ice cream annually on Xmas day since everyone was gathered, and got "birthday" presents the same day they got "xmas" presents. What they really got was short-changed.

My three year old grandson was born on Christmas day. Interestingly, his nine month old sister was born on Mardi Gras Day. Obviously that one won't fall on Mardi Gras every year, but still a cool coincidence.
