Obviously, that would make me happy but we've missed on Chavis and maybe Koening. I don't like the trend.

+1
It would seem that we have no choice at this moment...have to move fast. I will definitely hold LM responsible if we wind up with the Co-DCs again!!

Who says we missed on Chavis? Was he hired somewhere yet?

well others have stated tenuta has and always been the leader.

Or maybe we offered Koenning, but KSU offered the CIW title and he could not turn the opportunity down to coach his alma mater

Noone, but with the double wink from Sonny and then him going to Kstate. I would say that Chavis wasn't as high as Koening. Now, that doesn't mean he doesn't get a second look but why wasn't he double winked at?

Bil,

Is that coming from Chicken and Below or other sources? And why the hell didn't it happen last year? Sorry, the second question is me just speaking out loud.

Miles went with the choice that he thought was safe at the time: co-hire from within...co-DC's run the same defense that helped you with a spectacular 3-year run that included a national championship. He didn't expect Malveto Inc. to fail so miserably.

But you gotta love how Mallory a Michigan man wasn't good enough to be Miles' Michigan DC yet he was good enough for us.
