Multiple years of SEC experience, not terrible. Would you really rather have Hurley or Collins a play away from starting?

CBK touts what is best for LSU, and he is correct. Nuss needs a backup, BUT you have to be careful to NOT scare Bryce Underwood (its the world we live in with the portal and recruiting). Ideally, Nuss starts for two seasons and hands it off to Underwood.

Take a look at the list of portal QBs and name the ones LSU should be entertaining that they could get without guaranteeing a starting spot.

Currently ranked the No.19 QB in the portal, ahead of MJ Morris, Max Johnson, Tyler Shough, Ty Thompson, Taylen Green, Drew Pyne and Jeff Sims, and just behind Grayson McCall and Tyler Van Dyke.
Looks like a competition/depth player. Has SEC starting experience.
