I agree. Questionable decisions. Carlos getting barely any minutes against Kansas St, now Tyrell not playing against Alabama State.
I can only imagine how difficult it is mentally for players to not know their place on the team from a game to game basis. Not to mention how difficult it is to build chemistry and flow on offense and defense with lineups constantly changing.

Bingo, you’ll never build anything this way and players aren’t gonna stay. Not playing Ward alone shows the guy doesn’t belong coaching at this level.

Carlos before tonight had scored a total of 10 points in 6 games shooting 4-22 from the field.
Ward as good as he could be, is absolutely out of control at times.
Baker has a terrible attitude every time he gets pulled as well as Ward and it’s no surprise we made a huge run without them on the floor. At this point, I’m definitely giving the minutes to Dean.
Once Baker was out we could run more of the 1-2-2 and DHO. It sped up the tempo and we were able to get settled in. Also allowed Reed to play around the FT line area and gave Fountain more looks on the perimeter. Reed was constantly trying to drive against the zone and that typically doesn’t work unless the ball is being swung or skipped to you. Fountain has a little more IQ out there, which I liked.
I’m definitely not in a state of panic, this was another building block from the effort against Kansas St. Moving forward I think we will be competitive vs Texas. Looking forward to it.
