It seems on the surface that there are some pretty big differences between the two situations, but sure...if that checks out to be improper, then the same consequences should apply.
No hypocrisy whatsoever.
They have got to stop this Ruling Class profiteering, though. It's gotten to the point at which it's threatening national security.
