So he dismissed the coaches who were leaving? So bold.

Normally when a coach leaves, the staff will stay behind to coach the bowl game

In the transfer portal era these guys basically had unfettered access to tamper 24/7, hold private meetings to induce Tulane players to transfer to Houston, send out offers for their new job while working in the team building.

A lot of shady shite was going on. Hence why they were told to go ahead and depart

The new coach acted all high and mighty and said he wouldn’t ask any of his Troy coaches to move over with him until after a bowl game because they should be committed to the finish the season. Funny, he left before the bowl game. So now I hope the new coach at Troy treats his old coaches the same way.

shite like that happened to us after Napier left but other coaches stayed to "help" Mike Dez coach the bowl game.

I know the NCAA has "rules" about the transfer portal, but they turn a blind eye to whatever the P5 programs do, and it's obvious. Player enters the portal and somehow has his destination decided in less that 12 hours.

Sumrall was right to do this. Even if it means Tulane has to play with a literal skeleton coaching staff for the bowl game.
