Since they have marginalized God and Heroes, they are all we have.

In the past, our "leaders" tipped a hat to our heroes. They at least pretended to admire them.

The Founders were everyone's heros, and their fruits, the Declaration and The Constitution were treated, at least tacitly, with reverence.

Further back still, it was God and the Bible that humbled them.

Now, I think, the shackles have been thrown off and our "leaders" are basically free to be their own Gods and their own heroes.

Our leaders are no longer guardians of sacred ideas. They are free of all that.

They can question everything.

We need more humble leadership. Since God Almighty and the voices of the past no longer hold sway, my prayer is that current events and time humble these people.

Ukraine is a great victory for us, because it humbles our arrogant leaders. May there be many more.

As the current generations make our founders worst fears come true, may this generation of fools be humbled along with all those who follow them. May events confound them and those who believed in them curse them.

It's coming. I don't know if it's Karma or Revelations or just the natural consequence following arrogant fools. But its coming. And there will be humility again, in Washington, and across this entire land.
