OP, Baton Rouge Rehab Hospital in United Plaza is what you are looking for.


I had a total hip replacement just over two years ago. My orthopedic doctor asked if I wanted to go to physical therapy and I told him no. I did all of my rehab at home doing various exercises plus getting out and walking beginning the day after surgery. I had to use a walker then a cane but I did all mine at home.

With the improvements in orthopedic surgery, there will be less need for direct rehab at an in patient or even an outpatient unit as long as that individual is healthy enough
