Sounds like he’s pushing his signing back. He’s a polarizing recruit on this board. I don’t think he’s going to contribute right off the bat but I would rather have him than not have have him.

That means he hasn't settled on A&M despite what he's said. We still have a chance!

He or his parents have been plying the NIL money game the whole time. I hope he doesn’t come to LSU.

It would be better to go after McKinley in two years when he transfers. (He will transfer)

Let Tejas be our farm team.

If a player currently committed to a school passes on a period to sign with said school then he is not truly committed

Dominick McKinley would be one the biggest pulls this cycle, no matter what the majority of LSU supporters’ opinion is of him.

LSU sure as shite ain’t stopped recruiting him. Even offering his little brother; hell Elko offered his brother over the weekend.

6’6 285 that can move the way he does doesn’t grow on trees.

Have a friend who is an Acadiana High School football parent.

Word around the team is he's headed to Texas...Also, word is that the "want" is at times in question with this one.

Flame away, just what I heard....that and $10 will buy you a crappy cup of coffee nowadays...

He's a guy that you would rather have than for him to go to a rival just in case he pans out. I don't think he'll come to LSU regardless, but I've been wrong before.

I haven’t heard one remotely positive thing about his play other than he’s impressive in his uniform. Would it surprise me if all of a sudden fans on this board started celebrating if we landed him? No.

Note- this is not a knock on the kid. I’m teasing about the tendency of fans to act like a guy is no good when they don’t have him then totally flip and celebrate when they get said player. It happens every year.

Did you see the way he was shoved around by Catholic’s OLine?

My take on his film is that he has long arms and uses them well to stay off blocks. He also showed pretty impressive speed for his size to either lung at or run down a player and make a tackle.

At the catholic game, catholics OL was getting into his chest and standing him up pretty well, turning him into a statue. Once they got in his chest, he struggled to get off blocks. One would think that the #1 player in the state would require a double team and be in the backfield almost every play... he was far from that.

He moved from outside to inside and back and couldn't beat anyone. If anything he seemed defeated and just stopped trying to be disruptive.

He's Sophser 2.0 I think as far as being overrated goes. I just can't understand his ranking watching his film.

But I don't get paid to do this, soooo

I assume if his attitude is good, we'd take him as a Louisiana kid for sure. And we desperately need DL.

Probably should be a high 3 star.
