I really hope more states and regions build high speed rail links between major cities and hubs

It would be nice and useful in some cases, but building it should not trump any other existing infrastructure project. Our shite is falling down around our ears. The longer we delay fixing it, the more it will cost.

People will refuse to ride it on the simple principle they will not want to sit next to a stranger when they can drive instead.
