Point taken, but the counterpoint that comes to mind immediately is that there’s just no realistic or accurate comparison to be drawn between 1800 French “mob” and a 2023 American “mob.” We’ve “evolved” as a society, particularly in modern day, first world America, beyond medieval type revolutions. And no I don’t actually mean to say the French Revolution occurred in the Medieval period of history, only that the common tactics and practices were “medieval.”

BLM is an example, though it was 2020.

Populism is just another identity group that wants to topple the "elites."
