Why are you hitting the marsh this afternoon if you

Just let the birds rest. This is why nothing sticks around anymore. You going "check it out" will have ZERO positive effect on your hunt in the morning but the potential for a huge negative effect by chasing of birds that have been resting comfortably. Aside from the other morons constantly running around "checking things out".

Seeing a lot of birds on the bar pits, crawfish ponds, etc. all along I-49 from Alex to Lafy. Hopefully there will be plenty of action in the morning once they all get to moving.

FYI
There's a pond/bar pit at exit 80 on I-49 that is covered in birds. Can't tell what they are but it has been bank to bank covered the past few days. To my knowledge the owner does not hunt it and does not allow anyone to hunt it. Someone drive by in the morning and spook them. (joke)

Still no water in the swamps. Had 3 woodies try to light in one of the dry shooting lanes that normally holds water. They are confused.
