I don't agree with this. Trump kept (or tried to keep) just about every major campaign promise he made.
Also, every member of DJT's immediate family is worse off both personally and financially for him having entered politics. Kushner getting hooked up financially is the only exception, but Ivanka lost a very promising fashion brand that she absolutely loved.

Easily the most impactful promise he made was this one: “ I will get rid of the 19 Trillion debt in eight years”
In four years he added 7.8 Trillion. Who in his right mind would think that this fat old guy was gonna reverse field after that and get rid of 27 Trillion over the next four? One would have to be a full on fool to think he would, after that abysmal track record, reduce anything at all.
The man built his name on debt. He loves it. A do nothing Congress threw trillions at him, and he asked for MORE than they offered. 25% of inflation is on him.
