At first I thought Wal-Mart employees shopped the items and these third party people just delivered them, but I have come to understand that is absolutely not the case. These people are shopping the groceries

We do both. We make a bit more when we shop and deliver. But we also pick up and deliver. Spark does anyway. They use3d to use door dash for these services but wal mart got wise and created their own shop/pick up and deliver service, thats what Spark is.

To reiterate, my complaint is with the marketing of the service. Nowhere in the description does it talk about contract drivers or tipping. I dont think that would be assumed.

And clealy there is a market of people like me who don't like that idea because they offer another service for $40 more that eliminates that.

Thats well worth it to me to avoid driving and going into the store.

I love the "you don't tip" comments. I have never not tipped at a dine in restaurant. I usually do 20 percent or more based on the service. Never less than 15 and thst wasike 2-3 times in 10 years and we eat out at least once a week.

How much more do you make when you shop and deliver vs. pickup and deliver? Just curious.
